If you're looking for a club that doesn't bang out the same ridiculous music I've come to expect from all the other late night venues in Cambridge (yes, all 3 of them...) then Kambar's your place.

Everyone's too trashed to be pretentious, the drinks are served in dainty plastic beakers, the music is generally good fun (big mix of rock and Indie from all decades), and there's free Guitar Hero on the much calmer and significantly less sweaty upper level.

You have to be a certain type of person to enjoy the grubby charms of Kambar, but you'll never know if you fit this category unless you try. Happy Moshing!

Go if you want to line the pockets of an 'I'm down with it but elderly and greedy' couple who would rather spend their money on their own retirement that invest it in their future.

The club is dirty, grotty, seedy and entirely uninteresting. I hate it more than life itself.
