To celebrate the launch of Heathrow’s first British Food Fortnight (26th August – 12th September), we’ve teamed up with the airport to offer one winner a luxury hamper courtesy of Fortnum & Mason, available exclusively at World Duty Free.

Tens of thousands of passengers flying through the airport during the fortnight will be treated to a quintessential taste of Britain as more than 20 restaurants, bars and cafes across the airport showcase dishes such as crumpets, pork pies and fish and chips.

Gordon Ramsay Plane Food in Terminal 5 is launching a limited edition three-course menu to mark the occasion with culinary delights including Beetroot and English goat’s curd with toasted walnuts and pesto followed by Pan-fried sea bream with wild garlic and spring onion mash and tomato dressing.

Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar (Terminal 1, 3, 4 and 5) and Rhubarb Food Bar (Terminal 3) will also be serving passengers the great British institution of Afternoon Tea, complete with hand-cut sandwiches, warm scones and traditional leaf tea.

But if you’re not lucky enough to be flying through during British Food Fortnight - fear not - as the airport has lined up a luxury Fortnum & Mason hamper for you to enjoy. At Heathrow Terminal 5, Fortnum & Mason offers a bespoke hamper service which satisfies the most specific palates and discerning appetites by designing the perfect hamper tailored to the individual. One lucky winner will be able to create their ideal hamper by selecting £100 worth of contents from an extensive list of teas, biscuits, sweets, preserves as well as other little luxuries.
