I would like to support the good reviews for this place, but there is another side to how it does things. The upstairs and outside area is conveniently available for a drink or coffee etc, informal and useful in that location. On a sunny warm afternoon my friend and I popped in for a cup of coffee, which came along OK. But after a shortish time, before we had finished drinking, up comes the waiter, and in a none too polite manner he demands, do we want another cup then? The clear message is that we are taking up space and he wants us to leave at once. Why are staff so rude like this? The place had other customers but I wouldn't say it was crowded. A bad impression like this can really put you off going back again.

Great menu that is a little bit different than usual and all presented and served exceptionally well

I absolutely love this restaurant, the food was excellent - really top notch for a city centre. The staff were personable and we felt looked after. Has a lovely atmosphere, I would thoroughly recommend!
